Since Harry Goldthorpe first experimented with early glass plate photos at the start of the twentieth century, photography has been a favourite hobby of the Goldthorpe family. Four generations have eagerly embraced new technologies.. like film, 35mm sizes, colour slide, autofocus, electronic cameras, and now digital imaging and the ability to manipulate images without a darkroom. We have between us set up at least 5 darkrooms, and today probably have enough old cameras and equipment between us to set up a decent auction on ebay.

Each of these personal photo albums will give you a taste of the skills of the different photographers, as well as a glimpse of the width of travel we have covered over the years.
